Feeling unsafe
She didn’t know how long he was going to be there, but hoped that he would return soon. They were deep in the woods and she was standing out there, alone, waiting. She would not be surprised if an animal dangerous came running towards her.
Or… what if something dangerous was inside the cave? Steven was a strong man, but she knew he could never outrun an animal.
