Jessica wanted to scream
Was he aware of how dangerous this was? She wanted to shout, yell, and do anything she could to stop him, but she knew she couldn’t. She would never know what he’s doing if she did it right now.
She didn’t want her efforts to be in vain. She hid in her hiding spot, remaining as still as a mouse, and did not move.
