Jessica quickly realized that she hadn’t found anything even though she had previously walked the “path”. After an hour, Steven had left the path to continue his journey deeper into the woods.
Jessica was not happy, as she knew that walking through the woods would tire her even more. She had to navigate through the dense bushes, making sure not to trip on any roots. All while keeping an eye out for Steven.
