Macy’s Experience
Macy saw many happy dogs being well taken care of by their owners in America. In Indonesia, malnourished, often sick, dogs were left on the streets and abandoned. She wasn’t there to help dogs but the people. Macy was brokenhearted by the sight of all those sad dogs.
Research
Macy began to research street dogs when she returned to the United States. She also researched how to help them. She was shocked to discover how many street animals there are. She was surprised to learn that street dogs were not only in her small town, but also in the big city nearby.
