No One is There
He looked up, expecting to see her. But she was nowhere. He couldn’t see anyone. It had never happened before.
She was always there. She was there every day. Every day. He was going to figure out what was wrong.
Car
He immediately noticed that the car was still parked in the driveway. There was probably someone home. The little girl would not drive away on her own.
She was likely still at home, along with the person who could drive the vehicle. What should he now do? What if he rang the doorbell instead? Why does everything feel off?
