The unit’s room
Adam picked up a box, and as he opened it a wave nostalgia washed over him. The box held his favorite toys from childhood. Adam rummaged around in the box and found pictures of himself and his father. Adam couldn’t help but laugh.
Dust clouds rose up from the ground, revealing that Jack had set up a temporary office in the storage facility. The storage unit had a large desk and chair, a table lamp, bookshelves, documents and a corkboard with photos and notes.
Evidence that is powerful
Adam found a chest hidden under his desk. He opened it expecting it to be closed. When he pulled on the handle the chest opened. Adam discovered more photos and documents inside. He gasped out loud when he read what he had written.
As he began to read, he realized that it was evidence of corruption and embezzlement by influential individuals in the town. Adam realized that these people were behind the rumors about his father’s disappearance.
