No labels on boxes
Adam slowly opened the door to the storage unit. The space was small and dimly-lit. He entered and discovered stacks of old cardboard boxes. The boxes were covered in dust and cobwebs. These boxes looked as if his father had hurriedly tucked them away.
No labels were on the boxes. They were taped closed. Only by opening each box individually could Adam discover what was inside. Adam hesitated. What if the contents would only disappoint him once again? Only one way could be found out.
The unit’s room
Adam picked up a box, and as he opened it he was overcome with nostalgia. The box held his favorite toys from childhood. Adam dug through his belongings and found pictures of himself and his father. Adam couldn’t help but laugh.
