A unit that is old
Could the unit be named after him? His father wouldn’t use his real name in a crisis. It made perfect sense. He was compelled to test this theory. Adam asked his manager to search under his name, and they found a hit.
The manager informed him that unit 33 had been rented in Adam’s name. The unit was located in the oldest part. The padlock had rust and cobwebs on the edge.
The rusty locks
It appears that nobody has touched it for ages. He wondered how his dad had managed to buy the unit for so long. Adam tried the key that he had found earlier in the trailer on the padlock. The padlock was difficult to open due to the rust.
The manager was able to come by and provide rust-dissolving paint as well as a new lock. He saw that Adam’s unit was one of the older units, so he stopped by to see if he needed any help. He sprayed the padlock with a spray and told Adam to try again after a few moments.
