A storage unit
The coordinates took him to a facility for storage units not far from his home. Adam was surprised to find that the storage facility he had driven past so many times before, but never given it much thought.
Adam was filled with excitement and urgency. He couldn’t wait to find out the answers. Adam realized quickly that he didn’t know which garage door belonged to his dad as he stood before the rows of red doors. He did not record it in his journal!
His father wasn’t in the system
Adam went to the manager, and asked him if a unit was listed under his dad’s name. To his surprise, he was told that his father’s name is not in the system. Adam asked to check again, but it came up empty.
Adam was frustrated. Adam was tired and did not want his day to be wasted. Adam was about walk away when he remembered what his father had written: “There you will discover what belongs to you, and only to you.”
