Adam was shocked when he received a government letter informing him that his estranged dad had left an inheritance to him. Jack, his father, had been missing from the family for many decades. Many people believe that Jack ran out of town carrying a lot of money.
Did Jack give him money if the rumors are true? Adam was disappointed to learn that all he received were coordinates for an old trailer. The trailer was in the woods about a three-hour trip from town. He decided to go out early in the morning, curious.

Adam got an early start. He found an old trailer in the woods. There was no sign that anyone had been in the trailer for many years. It was nearly camouflaged by the dirt and grime on the windows.
Adam began to look through the contents and found nothing of value or importance. He wondered why his dad bothered to give him this garbage. As he was about to leave, he noticed a key in a chain of a necklace. The chain was right behind the door.

Adam looked at the trailer once more. Adam searched the trailer again. He checked the ceiling, walls and floor. When he was about to give in, he spotted a loose floorboard.
Adam opened the floorboard to find a secret compartment. He found an expensive journal made of black leather. Adam quickly turned the page and read the last entry. He was shocked by what he saw.
