Feeling insecure and isolated
David worked long hours in an RV dealership. He would sometimes be late home due to his work. Jonna stayed at home to take care of the family’s daughter.
Jonna’s time spent at home allowed her to create her blog, and she was able to release content that satisfied her readers. She would sometimes mention in her blog how her husband’s long work hours made her feel isolated and unsecure.
Ventilation
Around 2015, Jonna decided that she would vent her frustrations after a long workday on her blog. She wrote: “I am married to a man who works hard, and it took a toll,” she said.
“Sometimes, after a long workday, he’ll come home and I will be waiting at the door for him so that I can yell out, ‘you said you’d be home by five!’ It’s as if he prefers to work than spend time with us and our daughter.”
