Running Away
Gabby had wished she brought her phone so that she could call for help if the dog became aggressive or rude. Unfortunately, she didn’t have it on her. She knew that the only decision she could make was to call 911.
Fast and Far Away
She thought, “Get up and run out of there as fast as you can!” As she waited, her heart began to beat faster. When the chance to act finally came, she ran to save herself.
Learned Her Lesson
She was surprised that the dog did not follow her as usual. Gabby was only concerned with how relieved and happy she was to have avoided any bad events. She felt uneasy after the incident and brought her phone to the cemetery the next week.
