Keep Her in the Dark
She knew that the officers knew what was happening, but refused to tell Gabby. Gabby felt useless because she was not informed. She did nothing more than sit with the dog as two officers handled everything else. The officers accelerated their pace, as they became dirtier with every step.
Strange Behavior
The dog’s behavior changed as a consequence. Gabby petted the dog and felt its heartbeat increase as it began to whimper. She was confused as to why the animal would react when they dug, but dismissed it as normal dog behavior and kept digging. A miraculous event occurred completely out of nowhere.
