Visit Her
She always brought her flowers when she visited her. And while they talked, she listened to her stories about her life. When a loved one dies, it can leave a hole that is impossible to fill with comfort or healing.
Her Routine
She continued to do this every day until it became habitual for her. Then she stopped. Her grandmother’s visits were always scheduled for Fridays at noon. Each visit averaged a little more than an hour.
Can’t Reach Her
Gabby’s family and friends knew that she would not be available to answer their calls if her phone was at home. It wasn’t always the best thing to do.
