She respects her husband’s decision
Charlotte respects her husband’s decision and his motive for keeping the truth hidden from her. She did not do the same thing as her husband, but she understood his actions and respected him for them. She was happy that he thought of her and the family.
She can now take her final breath in peace, knowing that her husband loved her deeply and was a wonderful man. She’s also certain that they will be reunited in heaven, and together forever.
