The eyes opened
Lily was shocked when the animal opened slowly one eye, then the other. The eyes of the animal were bright red and slightly gooey due to being closed for so long. She thought it looked horrible and feared that the animal was very sick.
As the animal slowed down and walked on four legs, she began to notice more odd things.
