76. Saying goodbye
Jack told his daughters, “Alright girls.” “Time to say goodbye,” Jack said.
He was right. He also knew the sanctuary would be the best place for the children. It was also right around the corner. It was always possible to visit.

Jack gently said, “Don’t you forget we have ten birds at home.” Although this was true, Jack’s kids took another ten minute to say goodbye to each bird. The peacocks, on the other hand, looked confused, but grateful for the attention.
77. The Tourist Attraction
Jack’s daughters were just as sad about the birds’ departure as he had imagined.
Jack began building a custom enclosure for their new farm inhabitants.

Bonnie told everyone in their town about the peacocks they owned, and Jack began charging $5 per person to see them. The money was used to rebuild his cornfield.
