The voice that shouted “Come in!” was bright and cheery. Jack entered the room, quickly introducing himself and explaining the situation.
The woman in the office introduced herself as April Winters. “And boy, am I glad to be here.” She told Jack that she needed more animals to keep her animal sanctuary licensed.
Jack was happy to accept her offer to pay for the peacocks.
