72. The Sanctuary
Jack could not refuse the price Jack offered to send his resting birds to a sanctuary for peacocks. Visitors would be allowed to feed the birds and the babies could live with adult peacocks that would teach them how to behave.
These birds were soon to become beautiful feathered specimens of nature. They owed their survival to the girls and Jack.
The 10 that were left at Jack’s Farm could also become a tourist attraction.
