4. The People
Jack’s annual harvest festival featured hayrides and pumpkins as well as a petting zoo. It was a great way to celebrate the end of summer.
Even though most people are friendly, some kids can be rowdy. This is especially true for those with little else to do.
Jack knew better than anyone to mess with him, but he kept an eye on his farm as well as his animals.
5. The Animals
Jack’s Farm was home to pigs, cows and chickens. Jack sold some of the animals, since it was a working farming operation, but he also gave shelter to others. Jack enjoyed the hard work of cleaning out the coops, stalls and milking cows.
He was raised by his father and grandfather, who both owned farms.
Even a farmer such as Jack can get a surprise here and there.
