I’m in need of another expense, like I would need a hole to my head.Jack pondered. He was glad that his tractor was in good condition. It was one of his most expensive items. It would have been a terrible thing if that wasn’t the case.
Jack couldn’t relax despite the fact that his farm was profitable and did well.
Jack was worried that he would feel the strain on his wallet as this day became more and more bizarre.
23. The Cat
Mary’s eyes were wide as he climbed into the tractor. She said, “There’s a thing under the tractor!”
Quickly, Jack jumped down. Jack saw a small and feeble kitten lying on the ground. If he had turned on his tractor, the kitten would be trapped under the wheels.
The farmer was moved by the cat’s sad face.
