Struggle
Dave’s inner struggle intensified as time passed. He was torn, not knowing whether to put his trust in the safety of their new neighborhood or to risk Carey’s wellbeing. It was difficult to find the right balance between letting his son explore and making sure he is safe.
Unbeknownst, Dave and Malaya’s divergent parenting perspectives and unresolved marriage issues would soon collide, forcing them both to face their differences and make decisions that could change their life forever.
A Split Second
Carey went outside to collect bugs on the front lawn while Dave was inside his office. The kids were out in the street enjoying a lazy Saturday morning. Malaya decided to sleep in and everything was calm and peaceful.
All of this would soon change. Dave sat down at his computer and looked up to see the lawn was empty. Carey was nowhere to be seen! The father immediately began searching for his son. However, he became more frantic as each minute passed.
