Jamie was able to get agitated during the short drive to Ben’s home. He was pumped up and his anger increased by the minute. Ben, how could you betray him in this way? Jamie was certain that he had it right, even though the confirmation hadn’t been made yet. Was he sure? Jamie went into Ben’s home without hesitation, and began looking for his daughter and wife. He saw a woman and a girl in the living room, but it was not his family.
Jamie was still certain about his suspicions and asked where Stacy was. They said that they hadn’t seen Jamie’s wife in a long time… Was Jamie going crazy? He needed to know the truth. Stacy and his daughter were nowhere to be found. He began to panic. He must find them. He must know the truth. The house was searched again but nothing. He was about give up when he noticed a sound coming from the basement.
Leave and apologize
Jamie left the scene after apologizing to the woman and to her daughter. He had discovered that they were Ben’s niece and sister. After being away so long, he seriously doubted himself. As he walked, he was filled with a feeling of dread. He seriously doubted his own mind having been away for so much time. He didn’t know what to expect when he got home but was determined to see it through.
