The balding man
The man with the bald head was the caretaker! Lauren recognized him as her father because he had spent time with Stacy to help them. Jamie was suspicious about his wife’s relationship to the caretaker and felt guilty and ashamed.
He was embarrassed to even consider it. He was so worried about the relationship between his wife and the caretaker. He was unable to concentrate on anything else. He was so consumed by his thoughts, he couldn’t think about anything else. He couldn’t sleep or concentrate on his job at night.
Feeling faint after taking medication
Stacy left the house quickly, as she didn’t want to wake Jamie. She was feeling ill, and her medication was making it difficult for her to stand. She didn’t yet want to tell Jamie that she was sick, so asked Robbie to pick up her and Lauren. She hoped that with some help she would be able make it through her day.
Robbie was more than willing to help and arrived promptly. He was a great support to Stacy, Lauren and made sure that they were comfortable and safe. Stacy was thankful for his help and relieved to have been able get the help that she needed without telling Jamie about her illness.
