Feeling Unwell
He noticed that something strange was happening as he turned to Stacy. He was trying to figure out what it could be. She was red and sweaty. She was very breathless. He could hear it loudly, even though she was quite far away. Jamie assumed she was too nervous to tell him the truth. When he was about to tell her that she should come clean, something happened.
Stacy said, “Can you get me some water please?” It was clear that she was not feeling well. She seemed to be having trouble opening up and telling the truth, but something else was happening. Jamie was becoming increasingly annoyed by her dramatic behavior. However, he quickly regretted his actions.
She collapsed
Stacy said to Jamie, “Jamie…I’m sorry …”” and then collapsed on the floor. Jamie gasped as he rushed to her aid, but Ben and the man with a bald head were already there. Because they were moving so fast, he couldn’t tell what exactly they were doing. Jamie thought it was a familiar scene, and that only led to more questions.
As he watched, he was filled with fear and wondered what was happening. He wanted to help but felt powerless. He was afraid to ask what was wrong, even though he wanted to. He was also concerned about the balding man who seemed to be running things. He felt that the bald man was not to be trifled with.
