03. She Left Her Dresser Drawer Unattended
Kate assumed at that time that the coin wasn’t anything special and thought it was an old, rusted relic. She chose not to tell her mom about it, and instead stuffed it into one of her dresser’s drawers.
Kate was only eight years old at the time. It must have been difficult for her to forget that coin, which would come back and haunt her many years later.
04. Brings Her Back
Kate grew up as the days turned into months, and then years. She was preparing to move out of the comforts of her childhood home into college when she found the coin.
