Karen is less worried
George paid Karen little attention during the week that she was at the hospital recovering after giving birth. He only wanted to be with the baby and seemed to not care about his wife.
Karen was more worried about her own health than he was. She didn’t realize she made a mistake by not paying attention to George’s actions.
Heading Home
Karen quickly grew tired of the hospital, and after a week she was allowed home. She, George and the baby sat quietly in the car during the hour-long journey.
Karen was glad to spend some time alone with George. It was their first time alone in a long time and Karen was eager to discuss being parents.
