Hospitalization
A doctor immediately checked the woman’s condition when she arrived at the hospital. The doctor realized the baby had to be delivered right away.
Karen was not exposed to any more danger as the day progressed. George was grateful for the timing of his wife’s hospital visit.
Change of Decision
Karen was induced to labor the next day. The doctors took this action to help Karen, who at the time was very weak, start her delivery. The doctors decided to do a C-section as soon as they noticed that Karen was having more problems.
They realized that the caesarian was not needed.
